Tattered Box

Wanting to secure
A most precious thing
Would you put it in
A locked vault that screams
WHY DON'T YOU ROB ME?

Or would you use a
Tattered old box right
In view on the shelf
Where none ever thinks
Just look inside me.

They see the rough and
Tattered, beat-up box,
Ordinary, plain
No nothing special
And never get it.
