Denial

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. "(Mat 10:32-33)

Could it get any clearer than that? I don't see any need for explication on that, but apparently, things need to be said.

Do you Love Jesus? Is He your Savior and Lord?

The answer better be a wholehearted, YES I DO! YES HE IS!

How would you feel if someone you loved, cared deeply for, was willing to die for, was asked, "Do you know him?" And, your so-called friend is sitting there thinking, will they be offended? Will they think bad things of me if I say I know him? Perhaps I can equivocate a bit, deflect the question, not really answer until I'm sure I won't be embarrassed?

I tell ya, if you were my friend and did that to me, I'd be a little upset. I might just not acknowledge knowing you either! I might want to punch your lights out!
